Gintota Surf Location, also known as Rivermouth, is an exposed river break that does work only a couple of times a year especially if other breaks in the south are at least 5ft. Offshore winds are from the northeast. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. Gintota break offer both left and right waves. Even when there are waves, it’s not likely to be crowded. The water quality at Gintota is poor.
